Meal Prep For The Week: Fall Seasonal Theme!

Hi friends! So I figured it was about time
I did another meal prep video because you guys always seem to like them which makes
me really happy and I thought why not switch it up a little bit and make it Fall or Winter
themed. So this is a Fall themed meal prep so that means that a lot of the ingredients
you are gonna see in this video are in season right now and through the coming months. Seasonal
ingredients are more affordable, they’re more delicious, and they’re more fun to use. If
you have never seen my meal prep videos before I have an entire play list with all of them
so be sure to check that out. But just so you know in advance, uh my meal prep is a
little bit different. I don’t prep every single meal uh for every single day. I kinda do the
basics the minimum amount of prep to set me up for success so that I can you know kind
of call on what I need here and there throughout the week. I do have an entire meal prep e-book
that breaks down how to do efficient prep whether you want to do every single meal or
just the basics. So if you’re looking to get into meal prep it’s a great beginner’s guide
for any kind of lifestyle any kind of meal prep that you may want to do. So without further
ado let’s get to the Fall Fun! And there it is! My Fall themed meal prep.
So I hope that you found some inspiration there. My goal with these videos isn’t to
try and get you to prep the way I prep or what I prep but kinda give you some new ideas to
switch up your own routine. So comment below. Let me know which dish you’re most excited

feedback for me. One note I do want to make about this video is the timing of the meal
prep. So it’s kinda hard to show how the timing would be applied to a normal day of meal prep.
A) because I’m filming so it took me much longer to film then if I was just prepping
it like a normal day and B) to keep the video organized because I wanted you to be able
to see you know what I prep for veggies and fruits and proteins and starch and all that.
That being said sometimes the hardest part of meal prep is organizing the actual day.
So when do you do what? What do you put in the oven first? When do you cook the stuff
on the stove? What do you do while that’s going on? If those are things that you struggle
with I definitely recommend you checking out my e-book because it has a whole section dedicated
to how to organize your day, it has examples, um and I think it will really help you learn

  2. I have a question. What do you drink on a daily basis, like with dinner etc? Because every drink i buy has tons of sugar. Ive tried to just drink lemon water but it just wasnt enough for me. so i end up with arizona tea and gatorade etc. Do you have any suggestions?

  4. I am totally going to check out those recipes!!! My favorite soup is butternut squash soup and I just "discovered" it a couple of years ago. Thank you for all the work at you do!!! I bet that fruit mix would be awesome with some oatmeal. Yummmmm!!! Oh, and I loved the skeleton and the summer squash jellyfish! 😀

  5. Hi alyssia! I am loving your fall recipes and when i try your recipes it always comes so good! My boyfriend loves eating the food I make which are from your recipes! I was wondering if you could healthify eggnog since I love to drink it during the holidays but I don't look forward to the bad nutrition that comes with it. It could be a #wintersips series maybe 🙂

  8. I want that soup! I'm so glad I found your channel through Dani's! Where do you usually do your grocery shopping? I'm trying to get in the habit of using grocers that have a variety of clean food and not just the cheapo stuff with no nutritional value!

  11. Thank you so much for your tips. I've completely reorganized the way I meal prep on Saturdays or Sundays. I have learned so much from you. You've taught me how to make it easy to eat healthy when I come home from work and not want to cook. Everything's in the fridge and all I have to do is heat and eat. Are blueberries in season in Cali? Definitely not here in North Carolina. Keep up the great work!

  13. Today, my meal prep session was inspired by this video. 🙂 I just changed a few things because I'm vegan! Concerning the smoothie recipe I did a completely different one but I kept the idea of freezing small amounts in silicone molds, you're such a genius! It's practical for so many reasons!

  14. I'm making the fruit salad…but I couldn't find plums or blueberries that weren't super expensive. I also didn't get the pomegranate since I'm not a huge fan. so mines going to have apples, pears, grapes and cranberries. 🙂

  16. I love your videos so much. I just bought the e-book and it's great! One thing I'd love to see a video on, though, is how you tear up a store-bought chicken. It seems pretty straightforward, right? But I'm not clear on what's white meat, what's dark meat, the best way to separate it, etc. Hopefully you'll make a video on this soon!

  22. Very nice! I definitely got some new ideas. It's been a while since I've done apple slices or fruit salad for the kids, so that's going back on the menu. I have got to get a vegetable spiral slicer, that will really increase the nutrients we eat since we eat quite a bit of pasta.

  23. Is the sweet potato and carrot soap sweet? You use broth and spices so maybe it's a bit savory? I don't like sweet soups or sweet potatoes prepared with sugar. Just when they're savory/salty, like sweet potato fries. Is it like that?
    Also, how do you know how much is a serving for all of them?

  29. awesome meal prep. you can roast veggies, and puree the veggies,, the roasting will add more sweetness naturally.. great either way. i love your video's.. sorry for all the tips.. i use to be a personal cook. you can keep the extra squash and zucchini pieces and add it to the stews and soups. you have helped me become a better eater , and more aware through out the years i've been watching your video's.. thankyou for being a inspiration.

    I know you made hard-boiled eggs too, but do you have any tips for people who like meat more? Just add another type of chicken, ground turkey, or fish or something? I feel like my boyfriend and I would finish that amount of chicken in like, two days.
